Holiday - End
Too bad - this is the last day of the holiday and tomorrow the usual work will start again...
It was nice to pass 2 weeks with Nuage and Denver, enjoying a pretty cool schedule :-)
The nice Denver parts were:
In short: A really nice time all together :-)
Bonus: Some pictures of Denver enjoying a movie (The Last Trapper) and doing a basic demonstration of a 3D(enver)
It was nice to pass 2 weeks with Nuage and Denver, enjoying a pretty cool schedule :-)
The nice Denver parts were:
- More walks.
- More wake-up -I had the chance to be waked up nearly every morning around 6am by our baby.
I guess Denver was 'You have to enjoy the holiday, first step: Enjoy your nice Denver from the early morning' - Some snow :-D
- No destructions: Denver was really a nice baby - He didn't break anything, even when we went to see Avatar :-)
- Discovery of the yoga-poo: Denver sometimes does 'peepee' and 'poopoo' at the same time...
Yep, he starts a peepee, put a leg in the air and then suddenly notice a poopoo is on the way as well - So, with the leg still in the air, he continues the big work by lowering the back-part of his anatomy... That's pretty strange...
Best of all is some people are pretty 'Huh ?' in the street when they see how optimized Denver can be...
I mean it's not everyday you see a dog doing some yoga-peepee-poopoo.
Probably the face of Denver 'Ah crap, again !' does help to render the scene quite funny... - We watched some Denver movies: We watched "Eight below" and "The Last Trapper" in 3-D(enver):
Denver got a new place when we watch a movie: My laps.
I am not kidding - Denver comes on my lap (the front leg and head, the back legs are on the ground) and he eats his chew toys on me, or sometimes asks me to hold it so he can chew more comfortably...
So, people speak a lot of new 3D movies, but watching a snow dog movie with half the screen taken by the head of Denver is even more realistic - I can actually touch/smell/feel the weight of the dogs... So cool :-)
By the way - Sometimes Denver actually watch the movie as well, and since it's Denver, he goes right in front of the screen, so everyone can enjoy the 3D(enver) experience...
In short: A really nice time all together :-)

Snowdog
Haaa...
Finally the snow arrived !
I was quite curious to see how Denver would react seeing snow... His first snow with us, and his first snow as a big baby...
Especially knowing that he is a 'snowdog', I was a little bit curious: Having a malamute is cool, even when it's 35c, but with the snow, gosh, that's the moment you think 'Ok -now it's your type of weather right?'...
Watching Denver being overexcited, jumping, playing and running in the snow was really pure fun (especially the 3 time he felt... Yep - snow is treacherous sometimes....)
Here comes the photos Nuage took when Denver went to the garden and discovered the snow:
I mean it's really strange - it even grows on the trees...
(hopefully, I can still smell my previous peepeegraph, so it's cool)

The Wild is calling
Since we had Denver, he always liked to sleep near the window and watch people running in the street from a comfortable point of view.
At some point I was thinking: He won't be able to continue - I mean the place he stands is not big enough for him...
Yeah...
Thanks to Nuage, you can see how adaptable a malamute can be...
